Community Garden Plots Available

The Helen Trimarchi Community Garden at Keller United Methodist Church was started in January, 2016. Our purpose is to connect church members and the community as we learn, nurture the earth and teach gardening techniques. By donating a portion of our produce to the community, we help all involved experience God’s love and grace.

Since 2016 we have expanded the garden from four raised garden beds to sixteen raised beds, two trellis beds, one strawberry bed donated by Girl Scout Troop 3362 and one metal tank garden bed. We have donated approximately 1,000 pounds of produce to the Keller Senior Citizen Center over the past three years.

We are inviting local community members who are interested in gardening as well as our church family to garden with us.

You might want to rent a garden bed ($25 annual fee) if you:

    • would like to learn how to garden
    • know how to garden, but need a space to do it
    • would like to meet people interested in gardening
    • would like to help provide food for yourself and others in the community
    • would just like to dig in the dirt!
