Disciple

Led by Rev. Robin Stevens
Family Life Center 206
Disciple 1 is an in-depth overview of both the
Old and New Testaments.
Men
in the Bible: The Good, the Bad & the Ugly
Led by Rev. Tom Faile, Family Life Center
207
Men in the Bible by John F. O'Grady is a
fascinating and engaging account of the lives
and personalities of twelve men who figure
prominently in scripture - six each from the Old
and New Testaments. These profiles represent the
entire span of biblical history, from Adam and
Abraham to Jesus and his followers.
Apart from Jesus, all the subjects have flaws,
and some of them quite serious! Often their
noble qualities are obscured by pettiness,
meanness, jealousy, anger and pride. However,
the author demonstrates that, because of the
goodness of God, the bad and the ugly never
eradicate the presence of goodness. These
stories from the past serve as examples for us
today.
Men of all ages are invited to join us as we
read, explore, discuss and learn from these men
from the Bible.
True
Beauty 12-week Mother/Daughter Bible Study
Led by Cindy Keen, Hallelujah Center Room 1
In the reality
television show “True Beauty” models learned
that true beauty was more than physical
appearance. Using the stories of women in the
Bible, this study will explore the meaning of
“true beauty,” contrasting the world’s standard
of beauty, which can lead to poor self-image,
with God’s standards. Girls in fifth and sixth
grades, with their mother or grandmother, are
invited to join us for this fun study including
a Friday night lock-in. Class fee is $10 per
mother/daughter pair. Space is limited so
sign-up today! For more information or to
register, contact
Pastor Robin Stevens.
Miryam
/ Miriam/ Mary - Warrior Women Singing
Salvation's Song
Led by George M. Foster, Ph. D. , Family
Life Center 205
How has God called women to facilitate and
celebrate the salvation of His people? Who are
these women whose service secures their place in
Judao-Christian scripture and tradition? How can
their acts of bravery and service support our
call to sing salvations' song to our century?.
Women's
Bible Study: Beth Moore's "Beloved Disciple
John"
Hallelujah Center Room 9
John the apostle must have thought he had seen
everything. Having been with Jesus all the years
of his ministry, John witnessed more miracles
than he could count, saw more displays of power
than he could comprehend, and experienced more
love than he could fathom. And one unforgettable
morning young John outran Peter to his Savior’s
empty tomb. Just as Christ took John on a
lifelong journey into the depths of His love, He
will do the same for you. The bridegroom’s love
is unmatched and inexhaustible, and He is
waiting to lavish it on you, His beloved.
