KUMC Shares Christ's Love at Back to School Bash

08.13.19 | by Cathy Dill

Tuesday, August  6, KUMC’s Resource Center provided your donated school supplies to area students by partnering with KISD’s Back to School Bash. The families and students attending the Back to School Bash were invited by the district because they are recipients of the reduced or free lunch program within Keller ISD. During the Bash, students also received immunizations, free books, face painting, backpacks and much more. Thanks to your generosity, over 175 kids are now ready to go back to school! We were touched by a sweet family with four boys whose mother told us that she would not have had school supplies if it wasn’t for "caring people like you." Additionally, we connected this single mom with our Resource Center so that we could help supplement the limited income she has available each month to go toward food for her boys. Thank you for making a difference in so many lives of children within our community!
