Chris Johnson has served as our
Youth
Pastor since 2002. He leads our youth on a personal
journey in faith and works to prepare them for life
in a world that will challenge that faith. His prayer
is that while they are a part of our Student Ministries
program, they will hear teaching, be discipled, and
build friendships that will be a solid foundation for
their faith. Chris’ goal is to help students mature
in their faith and equip them to become missionaries
in their daily lives – at school, in the workplace,
and among their friends. The Student Ministries program
is full of activities that are designed to reach out
and engage youth to help them serve and follow Christ.
Chris graduated in 2002 as salutatorian from Dallas
Christian College and holds a B.A. in Youth and Family
Ministry. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity
degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He is married to Carla.
